I have completed the mastering of It's Not You It's Them and have submitted it to my distributor for approval. I've been working on these tracks over the past couple years; some of you may have heard them from time to time when asked if I have any new songs, so here they are in the context of an album. The title resonates for me, we all have those moments where your reasonability and logical approach to a situation is being undermined by someone else's unreasonableness and non-logic. The album cover art is a shot I took of my son Isaac looking out the window on the observation desk of Columbia Place in Seattle in the summer of 2015. When the album name jumped into my head, that image followed immediately - I think they go very well together. As far as the tracks go, one of the highlights for me is definitely Karma Earth, which incorporates some poetry I found on an old CD. I've tweaked it a bit over the years, trying to get as clear and crisp a sound as possible, and I am very happy with how it turned out. I hope you like the other tracks too, I will be working towards an actual web store release over the next few months.
